i think it plays into finding the person you were ment to be with(big world ,lots of people), but once you find them then no, it is up to the two of you to make it work and luck doesn’t enter into it.

Luck or fate I’m not sure. I met my DH in a college class when he was a bit old for returning to school. I think I’m lucky I paid attention and didn’t discount him.

Luck has some part. My husband and I were interested from day one, but for 3 years one or the other of us was always seeing someone else. Then we met again at a party and both of us were single and available. We’ve been together ever since – married for almost 20 years. I call that luck.

Luck, fate, a little of both bring you to meet the ONE. After that it takes love, honesty, work and commitment to stay together. I was lucky in love when it came to my husband of 23 years. When we first met I had just had a very bad break up with my last boyfriend. I spent most of the evening telling him what I would and would not put up with in a relationship. He asked me out in spite of my attitude, and the rest is history. We got married 5 years later and are still very much in love. I would say I am very lucky in love. I don’t think luck has anything to do with romance! 😉 Hard work by both parties to overcome obstacles has a lot to do with it… Maybe luck in meeting your soulmate in the first place… but luck in keeping/nurturing that romance? No, its up to the couple to do that.
